This R Rated film placed in a dreary desert setting, on surprisingly low production locations, heeds a powerful punch with Javier Bardem’s Academy Award Winning performance as Best Actor Anton Chigurh. Dry humor meets a strange violent insanity against the vibrant southern skies. Tommy Lee Jones, always consistent in his thoughtful nuances and the fantastic transformation of British starlett Kelly MacDonald into a girl from the south make this a juicy character driven drama and memorable masterpiece.
